So since the season is over, and with bit of downtime i would assume until next one picks up again i feel it's a good time to point out how poor the streaming for official matches is in respect to availability and replay material. You need to do unreasonable amount of work just to find streams, casters, vods for your games.
As it stands the only stream you can find games on with minimal effort is Reddog's since he does tremendous amount of work himself to promote upcoming games he will be casting. But he's only one man and can't possibly cover everything.
So the question is, is there a project in the works from ENSL staff side to come out, to help out in this aspect?
In the aspect of promoting streams that are live. First that comes to mind would be some support from the website like they have on www.teamliquid.net for live streams, unofficial and official(but again that needs rework for the site/new website).
Second is to promote upcoming streams before the matches are going to start, for the final games this weekend there was until the end quite a few games that we're "will there be a stream or not?"-moments. And quite a few did end up having nothing at all. I acknowledge the organisational problems with so many games happening at the same time, but it'll be nice to at least know for sure if there will be a cast or not. Which would mean an accurate listing of who can be there to cast, and who can't.
Also, something like "http://www.ensl.org/topics/982" that Pelargir did, is very helpful for promoting previous games, but again is 'hidden' on our forums and not promoted enough.
Anyway, im sure i forgot to point out something but just throwing the question out for now.
