sup guys
Not really following development anymore...
Does anyone here play the beta and enjoy it?
Did they give the lerk a bite attack? Are fades actually getting stuck in walls when blinking rofl? Does the new blink mechanic make for fun gameplay? Did/will they implement bhop or how did that work out?
How much longer do you expect it will take until 1.0?

Are all the maps dark and shitty?
Swalk plays that shit all the time and oc farms. I think it's getting better and better with each patch. If you have a decent computer, it's almost playable.
Lerks have spikes atm.
Fade blinking works but it's hard to use.
No bunnyhop just yet but you start with leap.
The maps are dark but the flashlight is alot more effective than it ever was.

lol on the oc farming, I hardly play as the gorge.. The fade blink has improved alot in the last patches, its more like NS1, except that; when you blink, you are invisible/invulnerable - and this has brought alot of fun gameplay for me at least. Performance has improved alot aswell, im running it at 25-60fps (90fps in readyroom) on my 4 year old PC. It is still a work in progress, and can become quite laggy if things go out of map or there are alot of entities/players. But I find it quite entertaining even in its current state. Its really beginning to have that 'epic feel' that NS1 had, and thats what I like about it.
I don't think bunnyjumping will make it in, only maybe for the skulk, if they can't find another way of giving it "skill-based movement". I see no other way, but lets see what they do about it. Gaining/keeping momentum is still missing from the game, in my eyes.

Some things are fine and even have potential but movement wise that thing could be played with nintendo joystick.

Its basically if marines get 2 res, turret farm their way to the hives they win. If not they lose after 2 to 3 hours of sitting in the base.
If aliens had a single drop of coordinaton I think the game would end in skulk baserush in 2min though.

Yep, mouse lag is nearly gone fps is decent on monster computers but animations are screwed and every lifeform gets boring real quick :(
It also seems that whatever you do it doesnt really matter, no resources -> you still get the guns -> you mad frag -> no faster upgrades / hive / lifeforms and in the late game you can hold the base with handful of marines for hours since commander can endlessly spam turrets.
Or just spam ocs until the server is broken.
