You may have spotted Eistees recent post, but I'm a greedy bitch and kept it too myself! Ahahaha! Anyway...
Congratulations to 9L! They've convincingly won the season, even beating an imaginary team in the finals! Unfortunately, there were some communication mix-ups after saunamen won their semi-final match vs TROLLS. The window of opportunity that both teams could play the finals flew by and we're left with an forfeit win in the division one final for 9L!
The next final to look out for will be between New Team and 250dp, http://www.ensl.org/matches/4087! We'll be seeing this played, hopefully, at 21:30cet on Saturday the 18th! Good luck to both teams and watch this space for live shoutcasting information!
A big thankyou to everyone involved so far in making this season work! All the clans and admin staff have really pulled together to get this season finished and playing some really good NS! Shoutouts to Eistee for joining admin the staff late in the season and really pulling his weight(fat) with persistant refereeing and keeping a level head! :D

Never had a true forfeit win in ENSL I think, vartija? The closest one was season 6 I guess, where 9L/sauna split the title because nobody wanted to play a tie breaker. I remember winning the gamingorb final by default back in the day though. That tournament was run by lump too. I smell a correlation here!

Use your brain instead of whining for the sake of whining. Nobody wanted this to be a forfeit win and we really did try every reasonable way out of the situation, but shit happens. The admins themselves have no real choice here; they either call a forfeit win or make the entire league pointless.
The final forfeit has no connection with "try to let this game survive". The final was a forfeit because the community is dead, not the other way around. In the six weeks leading up to the final we were looking for PCWs almost every day and ended up playing maybe two in that entire time. Forfeit final is no surprise under those conditions.

The season 6 title sharing was the result of a 3-3 tie and implies equality. This time that isn't the case. We had six ready to play at default time and would've allowed mercs (they had 5 on afaik). They could've played, but chose not to. Why should we be penalized for that?
As already stated, rescheduling to a later date wasn't possible.

Although i don't really like Saunamen not getting a merc or simply trying to field 6 some way, hell we got anyone we could get to get our game played just for the sake of this season, why can't Saunamen show some balls and get a merc (like they did with mark0).. And don't come with a shitty excuse "peach is our comm", think about 9L's comm (dux is not a real commander), or our comm (although doctor did fine).

I told the admin we had 6 at 17:00 -> 19:30, and we actually did have 6, dugi had to go at 19:30.
So please Tane, why would i even lie about that? Because i actually wanted to play it, if the admin misinterpreted that, it's not my fault.
But i think that you DON'T have any balls, 1 merc is all it took to play the finals, and you know it...

Last season (or was it the season before that) the final was vs a mix, about the same situation.
So I suggest we all play in div2 where there is less drama and the matches get played :P
