I am fairly new to this community but i had a thought that i wanted to share!

So since i am very uncomfortable with these kind of things i will just get this over with .. so here goes:

Since the ENSL did get a Server that runs the Balance Mod atm i was thinking that maybe putting that server into the Gather Server list might give ppl playing the gather the opportunity to try the mod in a decent 6v6 setting without actually having a Team.

Think about it ! .. It will also promote democracy cause lets face it sometimes i feel like half the ppl in the gather dont even know they can vote!

i was already thinking about it but missing votemap function made it impossible. unless you volunteer for 24/7 mapchange support of course :P

BluPickle seems to be in every gather ever played.
And yeah i am around a lot too lately so ... just make a note that ppl should make sure there is someone with ref or adminrights around if they want to play the BalanceTest Mod in the box above the gather with the short rules and things should be fine.

I mean if they vote the balancetest server they can either play the map that is running if no admin is there or still agree on another server.

Should not be that big of a problem tbh!

You can vote to change to a mod? That would be a pretty cool feature.

No you cant!

But since you can vote for a server you can jsut include that server that has the balance mod running in the list of servers and ppl can choose to play it then 8) !

But thats not what people would be signing up for, I think you would be cause yourself issues by giving them too much to vote on.

If the Server is called Balance Mod Server i think ppl would realize what it means if they vote for it dont you?

I am the first to call all the NS2 players stupid and stuff .. but give ppl at least some credit !

But people are not signing up for a mod balance gather - they might not wish to play that.

well i am not always signing up to play tram .. and yet you ALWAYS PLAY TRAM !

Also ppl might not want to play on a server with 120 ping and they still do it ... Democracy is a beautiful thing is it not?

And i doubt ppl will be Raging cause they might get a head start over the ppl being totally against the Balance Mod .!

Also .. you never play gathers .. so why do you care?? !

I play about 5 gathers a week

currently the balance mod is very different from the vanilla game. unless everyone wants to play BT there should be no option for it. people can always change the server later if they all agreed to do it.
