is there going to be a big gap inbetween this season and the next? if so, please reconsider and keep the momentum going. 3 months is how long a season should last, not the inter season....

"I think people just misunderstand the "summer break", we know not every are going at holidays and people will be on/off during the summer. That's why we don't find it convinient to have a season during the summer so there are cups instead, which are great for mix teams and for those teams that have enough players around to participate."
After Season 2 Finals i'm sure there's going to be an announcement of whats to come.

Experience shows that NS has usually big player drops during summer making it hard to maintain a stable team, and worse, the same 6 guys in your roster playing all your matches. There is simply too much outdoor activity during these months.
Sure, gameplay will still happen, and having a team is still good. But shorter events are more flexible to teams than a long season we just had. It is more forgiving to teams falling apart and newly reforming with different rosters, player swaps and so on.
To repeat the song: there is no silent breakdown - we will keep NS2 entertained! Just no long enduring season, but other stuff ;)

Cups eh? Correct me if im wrong, but wont 95 percent of NS2 players be unable to do the nations cups because it's only going to be the best 6 players from each nation? I couldnt think of a worse way to keep NS2 going over the summer to be quite honest.

The Nations Cup is just one thing, hitting at the start of the summer break. All the other events are free for every team to signup.
