No offenese rudy but i don't know who YOU are and yet you compare yourself as "of equal skill" to every div2 player, even though the skill level in div2 is extremely high compared to the last few seasons. So if you say you can put up a fight with all the flightless lerks/ dies irae/ hbz players, you should have no problem making a name for yourself and finding a way into the invitational gathers. If you can't, then that's the time for you to improve your mechanics first, and that you can do by playing NORMAL GATHERS EVEN.
Also, echoing what so many players already mentioned, but kinda everyone seems to ignore: high skill gathers will NOT kill normal gathers, if anything they will be a reason for all the (high skill) people who already stopped playing gathers to actually try and help the lower skilled ones again. People are all burnt out from the shitload of bad games they've had playing gathers, maybe they'll come back when they had a few GOOD games.
Also there's nothing wrong with farming some ELO by stomping rookies, so I definitely won't stop playing normal gathers B).

I think we've proven over the last few days that If people are willing to stop being anti-social every other day and send messages to all their friends inviting them to their own gathers, it can work and work well.
So I still don't see why this is something the NSL has to provide.

You don't need to know who I am. I am not the one suggesting myself to arbitrarily decide who gets to play in what gathers.
secondly. I'm not here trying to get an invitation, Im trying to stop such a system from being created as it will be based on (who knows who) rather than any systematic approach. Say what you will about this not affecting gathers but I already witnessed it yesterday.

is irrelevant when directed at me since im not proposing to compile a list.
It is however a relavant statement to make at phonee.

By the way I talked to a few people the other day and came to the conclsion that I'm wasting my time.
My last post was just a response to bauer because I felt it was meant as an insult.
At this time I realize this is going to happen and I will just need to wait longer for gathers to start.
Ive lost.
