Ixian linked me this sometime ago and I assume he linked many other people it too.

It is a basic "we're available on X day at Y time" kind of planner... if everyone could fill it in, we would more than likely not have anywhere near as many difficulties planning PCWs.

nice idea. such a scheduler should be available on the ensl site. set data on team site, and collect it in a overview... though that needs a regular cleanup, since people switching/killing teams like underwear... :(

Come on guys, really.

We have 4 teams that have actually filled in times etc to make finding PCWs easier... 2 of which are TAW teams.

Get organized so we can actually play the game we all supposedly love playing!

I spread it around as a test. Thought the idea MIGHT work. But it requires each team to have a internal schedule to know from what point they can play, and Im afraid thats the reason why many teams havent filled it out. The reason both TAW teams have written us is because they actually have an internal schedule and know when people can play.

I consider this idea failed, for the reason above. :(

The point is for all EU, NA, and Aussie to have a list of a SET schedule that teams will be 80% for sure able to play at specific times. It doesn't entirely mean that those are the ONLY times they can play. You put your teams scheduled time on there and your NA. an EU team that has a different schedule wants to do a pcw with you. so they try to get online around YOUR schedule and thus able to get both NA and EU teams to practice against each other as well as become accustomed to the high ping. Its not just for EU teams, its NA as well. All NA, EU, and assie members just need to get together with their teams to finding a specific time your entire team can play, post it on that document, and bam. pcw's become easier to obtain... The idea is great Ixian, its just gonna be difficult for some to set up specific times as quite a few people have constant changing schedules, but a tentative time would be great to have up none the less.

That's all well and good in theory, but what is the point of NA team leaders asking each of their teammates what times they are available every day of the week, each week, only to come to the conclusion that the only time EU and NA teams can play is still sunday nights for EU, afternoons for NA. This will be my teams third season in the ensl, and the number of times we have successfully scheduled a match/pcw against an EU team on any time other than sunday afternoon is zero. Most EU players just don't want to stay up until like 4am to play ns2, who would have thought.

tl:dr too much trouble to figure out what we all already know, sunday 19-21 cest.

here's the thing... its not JUST for YOU.

Its for everyone to use... so that on the off chance a team CAN play at the same time as you guys and you didn't know about it.

its so that EU can schedule with EU, RUS, NA or AUS... and for NA to schedule withEU, RUS, NA or AUS... and so on and so forth.

IF everyone were to actually have a scheduling system for their own teams, then putting up times that you're 90% sure you will be able to attend a scrim on that time table makes arranging PCWs for EVERYONE easier.

Sure, it "could" amount to nothing, but by not partaking you are increasing the likelihood of it amounting to nothing, instead of taking part and helping it amount to something greatly useful for many teams.

Well, the thing is pretty easy ain't it?

Fill it out as detailed as you can: your team might have more PCWs because others (EU, NA, AUS, teams from Mars...) can see when you are available.

Don't fill it out: you don't.
